Sunday morning

Practicals:
Drum Exercises: Check
Music Theory Lessons: not yet
Ab exercises: Check
Leg Exercises: Check

Laundry: In Progress

...And so coffee is made and I'm crackin' open the Sunday paper.

Coffee is brewed and I'm watching the Seattle/Chicago playoff game.

So far a delightful Sunday morning. This afternoon I'll be making some chili and cornbread that will last me through the week.

Oblivion on the Xbox 360 is engrossing. Though I am getting tired of the Oblivion gates. What wretched, wretched little hell holes those are.

I hope your Sunday morning is going well, gentle readers!

News Roundup

So, perusing the Sunday paper has it's plusses and minuses.

A Sacramento area woman died from drinking too much water. She was trying to win a contest for a Wii, for cryin' out loud. Yes, I know it's out of stock at popular places like Amazon.com. But the unit is normally about $250, right? This is so tragic that someone killed herself for a Wii for her kids. A 28 year old mother dead. I know part of it is that maybe no one ever thinks about drinking too much water. I know I've never considered "water intoxication" as being a peril. But I'm not financially strapped such that I would find participating in a contest like that. Thank goodness, because until now, I probably wouldn't have thought of such a thing.

With regard to the case of the missing Missouri boys, the creepy stories are going to start coming out. What did Devlin do to Hornsby that made him live fairly peacefully in that apartment. As always, Devlin was a quiet, good worker...with an issue about assigned parking.

My Theory on "24"

I think Jack Bauer got employeed during a time when the retirement compensation packet was *sa-weet*. I think the government will do anything within its power to make sure he dies before he can retire.

That's my theory and mine alone.
