(no subject)

It's 2pm, and I'm finally getting around to a meal. I'm brunching on some hard-boiled eggs and some English Tea Scones I made yesterday. Don't be misled by the scone! I'm drinking coffee.

Scones on Sunday. How delightful. The sun is shining and the air is cool and crisp. All is well.

I woke up around 11am this morning.

I and some friends I did not really recognize were in Paris. We had an objective yet I'm not sure what it was. On our way to our objective, I saw a quaint outdoor shopping venue named "Weaktwos Plaza" in some voluptuous seventies-style font. It was at this point that part of me know I was dreaming. The inner pansy in me followed along, however, and was quite pleased with the coincidence.

Then we move to the chase-scene of my dream. We are in a gun fight in a huge palace. The palace was ornate in the interior. Though it was luxurious, it was not French in style. Furthermore, it had a brick exterior. Bullets are flying by in the Matrix-style bullet-time style. I manage to dodge them all. Yay! Furthermore, this grand building was being demolished during our skirmish. In my dream, I was having fun, "Whee! I'm dodging bricks and bullets." I was awed by the ground shaking under my feet and the successful avoidance of death.

Then my team escapes from the scene, still on the run from our unseen enemies with the cool slow-mo bullets. We end up at a railroad yard, where a sea of hobos are sitting there, cooling their heels. This railyard area is right next to a cliff that goes down a few hundred feet. We decide that we can be easily seen among these hobos, so we decide to duck out of sight and shimmy along the cliff.

I'm making good progress on this cliff until it turns into a structure of flimsy cardboard boxes. As I begin to tumble down to death or at least a severe maiming, I declare, "This is bullshit!" and wake up. Maximus is sleeping against my face, and Sascha is not too far behind.

And then...

I've managed to fold some laundry today and clean up the kitchen a wee bit. Oh. And bathe. I know, I know. It's hard for you folks to keep up with this fast-paced life I lead.

I am drawing up a shopping list for tonight's meal and food for the week. I'm feeling like mexican food tonight. Perhaps tacos or enchiladas. Homemade salsa, too.

MST3K is my background music today. It's a really crappy movie with the late Raul Julia. Oooh, it's a stinker. He most assuredly was young and needed the money.

I hope everyone's Sunday is progressing well.
