Flashback to a day in the life of a child.
Every time I hear Supertramp's "It's Raining Again", I'm transported to when I was 11, and in my room, in braided pigtails. I'm sprawled out on my light blue bedspread, listening to the radio, adoring this song. This was before the days of cds, of limewire and the like. I had a bunch of blank tape cassettes and because buying the entire supertramp album was not in my best interests at the time, I would try to bootleg the song off the radio, without recording crappy before and after DJ-talk.
This was a simpler time, I was in the 6th grade. My family was altogether. My brother still lived at home, my parents were still married. My dreams still far off in the distance. That was two-thirds of my life ago.
