Sunday Afternoon
Well, the afternoon was reasonably productive.
This afternoon, I went to OSH to fetch a new hose. My other hose gave up the ghost as I was just about to engage in a power washing of the front porch. So fetched a nice new little hose that self-coils. Now I'm back in business. After that, I shimmied over to le Target to finally acquire a few halloween decorations. I've been remiss in the past, for I am seldom energetic enough to maintain lots of seasonal schwag. However, I acquired a Halloween wreath that says "Welcome", a votive candle lamp that has a glass jack-o-lantern for the shade. It glows orange when a lit candle is placed within. I also got a sparkly jack-o-lantern for my front porch table. So there are a few little Halloweenish touches for my porch for prospective trick-or-treaters.
I am loaded with candy; ready to feed the world with sugar and fat.
The pumpkin curry is made and simmering nicely. Babydoc is having an interesting evening, but by now she should have landed safely from her San Diego trip and should be here at some point.
Sleepy Hollow is ready to be queued up when the guests arrive. Now to read and purvey trick-or-treating love to the masses.
