I'm loving their latest album, "The Crane Wife". Especially "O, Valencia!" which is a delightful variant of the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Thank you, Decemberists, for writing sad songs with reasonably happy music. How sad is it? I'll tell you!

Ah, true, star-crossed, tragic love. Makes the heart sing, it does.
