Les Miserables

So, Les Miserables is playing at the music circus. The Sacramento Bee gave it 4 stars. An interesting tidbit o' trivia is that this is the first time Les Miserables has been performed in the round. It's been circulating for at least 18 years, and no one has performed it in the round until now?

I love that play and i bet it would be interesting in that format.. that is so awesome.. just writing this brings the music to my head.. smiles..

I'm frankly amazed it can be done in the round. It would require a completely different set and choreography. In addition, the traveling production shut down last year in preparation for return to Broadway, so that's likely the only chance for years to see the show without flying to New York. Go! I'm jealous.

I didn't realize this was the first in-the-round production of Les Mis! Interesting. Are you going to see it? Some friends and I have tickets for next Thursday evening, and I'm hoping/expecting to enjoy it.
