(no subject)

I have a Tivo series 2 PVR!

Tonight, I shall be able to record. We'll also see if I set it up properly. I'm rather accustomed to my customized channel listings, so I'll need to figure out how I create the same thing in Tivo.

I'm starting to feel like [profile] scarcrest. I get miles of Valentine spam in my emails, and Outback Steakhouse is vigorously advertising for the "big event". "Won't you be my valentine, the Outback Steakhouse way". Gag me.

Now you can watch twice as much boreing TV as before without missinga single brain numbing moment!

Woo Hoo!

Hush-up!

Soon, I'll be able to hook it up to the network and play mp3s from my PC on it. :-)

Christ. That's why you got it?
::Shakes head::

Indeed.

Techno-Geek.

It's one of a small list of reasons, actually. I've been wanting one for a long time because there are some things in tv I do want to see, but am not around to do so. My vcr and dish satellite don't do well to record on a timer basis. So, if I wanted to record something, I had to have everything turned on to the right channel.

Now we add the home network option, and some fun possibilities open up. :-)It was just icing on the cake. I currently can hook up my laptop to the stereo to stream my mp3s, but there are times when I want to use the laptop and listen to my mp3s without having to sit three feet from my stereo.

Bah... Justify all you want.

It's a tech toy and you are a geek.

Hey, I'm not denying I'm a geeky toy lover. I'm just saying I had not only one geeky reason, but many geeky reasons. :-)
