A harbinger of age...

Jesus, Mary, Joseph and all those friggin' wise men! I just screwed up my back. I have no idea what happened, but suddenly I felt a sharp pain in the small of my back. I could barely walk.

I persevered and walked it out, then took a motrin. Now it's finally loosening up and I'm nearly fully functional again.

Damn, it hurt!

Did it shoot down your leg? Could be sciatica. Watch pushing/lifting heavy things like couches or luggage.

No shooting down the leg...just a pain in the ass. Literally.

It could still be sciatica. It runs weird--will suddenly flare up and then you may never hear from it again for years. Strange things trigger it, too.

Have it checked out when you get back. Usually a combination of rest, therapy and meds will get you 100% right again. But, be forewarned, sciatica can get ugly during pregnancy. And, it can manifest as a combination of pain, lessened abilities and numbness.

Then again, someone kneading your ass can't be all bad...heh heh.
