'Tis slightly worthy of note that the actors who play the Dursleys in the Harry Potter movie also played repugnant characters in the Gormenghast series on BBC. They played Swelter and Irma Prunesquallor. Oh...and Madame Hooch was Clarice in Gormenghast.

I like it alot. While I feel that many nuances likely have floated over my head, I enjoyed its uniqueness, and the nature of the dialogue.

I almost wonder, however, if Gormenghast really was worth saving. The ones who loved it most seemed like they weren't the appointed leadership, and that was a shame.
