This morning's cute interaction with the cat:

Me, in my loving-yet-sickeningly cute voice: "Where's my Sascha-love? Where is he?"
The cat saunters out of hiding, looking oh-so-precious.
Cat: Mew-mew!

Now, there are some varied schools of thought as to what "Mew-mew's" english translation should be. The top two contending theories are:

Hypothesis 1: "Here I am, oh benevolent Mistress of Beauty and Love!"
Hypothesis 2: "Hey, dirtbag. That cute "Sascha-love" bullshit better be backed up by a 100% Chunks-o-beef-n-gravy Guarantee.

Anyway, it's a beautiful morning. I finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night. I'm eager to talk about it, if anyone else out there is. If you want to be on a filtered post, where I spew forth various spoilers in my opinion of the book, let me know. That way, we won't pose a temptation to those who are not yet done.

About a year ago, I was talking to another fellow Potter nerd. She, being into fanfic and reading online chats with Rowling (or something like that), told me she'd heard someone was going to die in Order of the Phoenix. She was convinced it was Hagrid. Of course, I'd have none of that and made a quick mental list of who was expendable. My prediction, for ohsomany reasons was that Sirus would die, if that rumor was true. So, I've been silently boycotting this book. However, I will cave soon. My curiosity will overwhelm me and I'll have to indulge myself. Thankfully, I've not read any spoilers and said fellow Potter nerd is away in Italy until late August, by which time, I will certainly have devoured this book.
