Readapalooza

You know, that's just wrong.

It's a good thing to get kids to read, and it's a fun way to do it. I remember when special events came to our elementary school like this. It was neat.

But I'm curious to find out where they hid this truck. Unless they got it out of town before anyone knew it was missing.

And are we going to have a high speed readapalooza truck chase?

"...Vice Principal Louise Ito said the 850 children...were disappointed at being denied the show they had earned and anticipated, but they took it in stride..."

"...when asked to comment on the situation, one student replied that reading is 'gay'. Others felt concerned that they would have to do 'actual school-work' during the time that the Bookapalooza show was scheduled...Multiple members of the schools faculty expressed their concerns of 'not having anything for these little shits to do for two hours'...As you can see, similar sentiment runs high among both the faculty and student body..."

Oh we had a good laugh over it for about 30 minutes...

Then she proceeded to tell me about how someone was sticking pythons in people's mailboxes. I haven't laughed tht hard in a long time.
