I am watching Masterpiece Theatre's Dr. Zhivago. It is entertaining. First of all, there are handsome men with British accents. This is a good thing. Second, it is a tale about Russians, yet all the characters have British accents, with no attempt whatsoever to sound Russian. What fun!

Tonight I made some mashed potatoes and fried a chicken breast, along with some mixed veggies. I was in the mood for some good ol' fashioned comfort food.

Since Sascha, the oldest cat, likes to play with sheets while I fold them, I got out a seldom used "stunt sheet" with which to distract him. He likes to get under it, hide, and play at will.
