Today was a good day.
I find myself getting very angry when I see Bush on television. Our soldiers keep dying in Iraq after our "victory". Jessica Lynch comes forward that the military was misrepresenting her story and using her boost support for the war. The only hero we can mention from this war appears to be her. And the story is bogus. Nice. Why would that be?
The only people profiting from this crap is Bush's friends. We give up our privacy and rights for the sake of national security, we send our soldiers to die and become depressed and demoralized in a foreign land. We tear apart a country already limping along and give them the type of freedom that doesn't appear to involve a great deal of freedom for them.
Why non Halliburton or Bechtel employee supported Bush in the first place continues to utterly sadden and amaze me. Twelve years after the end of the nasty republican reign of the 80s, we see nearly all of the same crappy cronies that worked for Reagan and Bush Sr. The folks that allowed for tremendous unemployment why the rich got richer. The ones involved in multiple scandals, the fruit of which we are harvesting now with terrorist attacks.
The reason why a near majority of our voters didn't see this coming was because they have lousy memories and poor observation skills. We try to impeach a president for getting a blow job, but let Bush and Reagan figuratively fuck us all up the ass with a wire brush.
