My Operation Elf gift

I forgot to explicitly share what my Elf gave to me for my gift. I was immensely pleased!

First off, I must express my gratitude to [livejournal.com profile] eyow for her lovely gifts. And whaddaya know! She's in San Jose! Howdy, Neighbor!

I got Ghiardelli chocolate candies and See's candies and some lovely teas. Nummyness!

Most importantly, she gave me a copy of Tenacious D's Masterworks.

And the nifty finishing touch: a lovely homemade Christmas card.

No, I don't have my Christmas Card act together, yet, and nor has it ever been so together that I make homemade cards. Sorry, kids.

I have not yet taken the time to curl up on my sofa with some chocolates, some hot tea, and Tenacious D, yet, [livejournal.com profile] eyow but I shall!

Hooray!

When [livejournal.com profile] scarcrest said that the theme was something from where we live and then I got your name and address, I thought "she must already know about anything from around here!" since you're so close (relatively speaking). But hey, almost everyone loves chocolate, right? Of course, a few minutes ago (while listening to the California Report on KQED), I was kicking myself for not thinking of Scharfenberger. ;-) And the tea - that was a stab in the dark, which is why you got black and herbal teas. I was just hoping that there was *something* there you'd like. I've just been on a tea kick lately and got a big order from Stash, so I thought I'd share. :)

As for the Christmas card, it's just What I Do. Not that you're not special, of course...but it's not as hard as you might think. Hey - you wanna learn? ;-) (don't worry, I ask this of anyone I meet *g*).

You'll have to give some details about the DVD...I used to date a guy who looks eerily like Jack Black. Seriously, if Eric gained 50 pounds, he could be the man's double.
