I reckon I'll be a busy, busy beaver this week. My coworker had his first child this past weekend, so I'll be taking on some of his duties. Plus there's a hill o' extra other work to do. Score! And since I said I'm a busy beaver this week, any picture of me will be a gratuitous beaver shot!

Woke up this morning to the news of a lengthy car chase that went from South Sac to Ione, Jackson then towards Stockton. I guess they finally caught him. The KCRA helicopter was chasing it from the air the whole time, cluing sheriffs where he was going. It was raining, and the guy was driving an Isuzu Trooper. It's a wonder he didn't kill anyone.

Interesting local event, however.
