Testing

This is a test post featuring the new toy. Previously, this was the "Toy that could not be named" until I had it working in the way that I wanted to.

You see, I was having issues attaching it to my network.

After much toil, and little thought, I decided to use more thought and less toil. A web site visit and a firmware upgrade later, I was cookin' with gas!

Behold, my new baby: the ibook 12" laptop.

haHA! *evil laugh* I have a 12" ti POWERBOOK! FEAR MY POWER! BWAAHAHAH!

I was a little disappointed when I got the 12", but I've come to like it soooo much more than a full sized laptop in that I can lug it anywhere, it's small and light and oh so powerful. 10.3 rules :)

Okay, this is incredibly strange. I use Mozilla, and when I comment on one of your posts, the reply page bits are in French (I think). Seriously, the buttons where I choose who I am say:
"Anonyme
Utilisateur connecté: eyow
Utilisateur de LiveJournal"

Then below where I'd enter in a subject line it's:

"Le HTML n'est pas permis dans le sujet."

and then whatever it says before a checkbox on top of the box where I'm typing now:
"Ne pas mettre en forme automatiquement :"

Or did you do that on purpose?

Yes, I changed something to "French" in one of my options, and never got around to putting it back.

French makes everything seem fancier. Instead of asking, "Logon?", it's "Connectez-vous?" So much more polite. ;-)
