The Eyes have it

I just returned from my doctor's appointment for me eyes. They do that thing...my ever-favorite (lying) dilating of the pupils so he can see into my soul.

Care to take a peak?


I thought I would preserve for posterity what my eyes look like when they are maximally dilated.

So now you know.

Only when you go out into the sun. They give you these temporary shades that sheild your eyes, but they look dorky. You get a choice: humiliation, or pain. Hmmm..

Fortunately, I just went straight home. I still can't see so well.

Been there done that. I'm OK as long as there's not much ambient light around -- but it takes ages for my eyes to get back down to where they belong.

wowsers! i hope you didn't use a flash hehe. well not only woudl that be painful, but you'd get serious red eye. hmmm actually that might be kinda cool maybe you should try it :-)
