It was quite good, actually. The play was a production of Theatre Works, and my friend Emily had tickets for a night where there was a discussion with the director and cast afterwards, so we learned that a lot of it was based on his letters. The actor who played Vincent was really good, you really felt like this was an intense person, and you definitely could see how easily he could slip into madness.
Plus, on the way home, as we approached the Rengstorff Ave exit in Mountain View, I said something about the Krispy Kreme there, and Emily mentioned that she'd never had fresh KK donuts, so we had to stop and get some. :-)
What I find more amusing is that you have posted nearly the same comment to each of our journals. In my case, you claim that he posted a few hours after me. In his journal, you claimed I posted a few hours after him.
Of course, with a little research, I did indeed notice this and post about it before him. Because I choose to be facetious, I'm also amused that he believed your comment that he posted before I did, and was therefore tempted to "take credit" for such a thing. This serves as a fine example of his level of research, and his proclivity to believe everything he reads.

But yes, it's merely a coincidence. :-)
