There's a $163 round trip fare to and from Atlanta for Dragoncon, but I would have to stay through September 8th, which is 3 days longer than the conference. Sheesh. Of course it would cost me more in hotel fees if I were to stay that long.

Piffle. I see a $400 ticket looming in my future.

Skip dragoncon - go to Gencon.. It's much cooler, and it's when all the companies release their new stuff.

If you like, you are welcome to use my spare bedroom for a few days after the con. I don't see any reason a friend from out of town shouldn't be able to save a couple hundred bucks.

The problem is, I don't have that time off at this time. :( Plus, I'd also have to fly out a day before the con.

could you purchase the cheeper ticket and pay the cost of changing the times, or is it really cheap becase it is locked in? That really sucks.
