There are ten million stories in the naked city, but no one knows which one is theirs.

Then what proceeds in her song is an instrumental sequence that I can only describe as "Herbie Hancock music sampling sounds from dogs fornicating."

And yet, I still found the tune catchy.

As I was driving home tonight after hanging out with Ms Tao, Guns 'n Roses' "Paradise City" came on the radio. The song always perturbed me because in my Paradise City, there is no Axl Rose or Slash. Ew. Give those boys a shave, a hot meal, and take away the microphone.

Apparently Axl has pretty much demolished his voice, according to some report I saw on a reunion or new album or something or other.

I'm trying to think of other Guns N Roses songs and all I can recall is the cover version of Live and Let Die. Oh, and November Rain (or was it September?), with the indecipherable video but the interesting orchestral stuff. The rest either weren't that memorable or I'm losing my less-crucial memories of the '80s.

Demolished his voice? I thought it was demolished from the get-go...
