Planets Made of Wood

Yeah, why don't they make a sci fi action movie featuring a planet made of wood? It could feature a long-suffering, morose culture that suffers from excessive splinters in the feet.

Perhaps the shrubberies could be made of pipecleaners!

I am now settling in to watch Count of Monte Christo, perhaps I'll get in some guitar practice, as well.

Reminiscence of the weekend: some of the artwork featured at the Artist's Collaberative included paintings of asian ( I am not astute enough to recognize it as Japanese or Chinese or whatnot) character symbols. One stood for good fortune. The phonetic translation into it's particular native language was "Fuku".

I'd like to be the trader who lands on that planet with a cargo hold full of belt sanders.

Or ... wait ... wouldn't the first spaceship to land on the planet set it on fire? What's the fine for burning down a planet?

No fine, save for the honor of living on the Kingsford Charcoal briquet planet.

Heehee--terrorists would merely need termites or carpenter ants.

Finally, Michigan would have an exportable product...
