Won't you take me from funky town

I have determined that I am in "a mood".

I was a wee bit cranky when I awoke. I launched myself out of bed early so I could go get a turkey at the food co-op. They had none out yet.

Then I was confronted by notalassclos* on the roadways, starting with the grand poobah of notalassclos in the Enterprise Rent-a-Truck, who blocked the entire street with this truck, making it very inconvenient and unsafe for people who are entitled to the public streets to drive around him.

After that, I noticed I was prone to cussing out drivers in the privacy of my own car. So I was revelling in a three-fer of annoyance:
1. Bad Drivers
2. Road Rage
3. The realization that I was acting like my mother.

The good news is that the day is nearly complete. Three more hours.

You didn't signal either!

Sorry, it never gets old :)

Hope your day has improved with the cessation of the work portion.

Wow, I didn't get the response notification for your post. Yes, the day did improve. I had a splendid coffee date with a british expatriot. :-)

Argh. I sympathize with the driverly funk. I, too, find it often necessary to communicate with my fellow passengers on our nation's roads and highways...they never hear me either. Thar's idjits in them thar cars, Mavis!

And I like your truncatenated words...heh.

I am a veritable Frankenstein with the lexicon. Maybe I'll have to create a small story about a character named "Frankenworder".
