Tuesday's Report
I like listening to Robert Earl Keen's "The Front Porch Song" followed by Lyle Lovett's "This Old Porch". I imagine their days as roommates were pretty darn hilarious.
I am proud of my mad prepping skillz, yo. I will make a German Apple Pancake for tomorrow's potluck. In order to make sure my cooking goes quickly tomorrow, I have prepared the wet and dry ingredients and set aside. I'll just need to chop and cook the apples, mix the dry and wet ingredients, and toss it on a platter and head to work. I have also made a caramel sauce to go with it.
I made some acquisitions at Best Buy tonight: Fiona Apple's latest CD, and a Green Day concert cd.
Work was productive. I had a scare when a motherboard swap did not go as smoothly as planned. I had to assemble and reassemble that computer three times. I'm not sure what the problem was, I didn't really do anything differently, but the third time was the charm.
Tomorrow night is wine tasting, and preparation for the cakes I'll be making for a friend's party on Saturday. I'm thinking of a spice cake and a regular vanilla-esque cake. Word on the street is that my friend is not a fan of chocolate.
I have been goofing off with the Sims 2 again. Time to quit that and get back to music.
