It is Friday. Much rejoicing shall ensue. I have a bit of an on-call obligation tonight. Hopefully it will be no big deal. Then again, my "good on-call karma" has kind of run out of late.

Ah well.

I watched "The Constant Gardener" last night, in addition to some drum practice and buttermilk wafflage.

This weekend, at some point, I shall endeavor to make potstickers.

Time to bathe and face the day!

I have been waiting for netflix to send me "The Constant Gardener" for just about an eternity now. It is making me cranky.

Ummm...how long? Because I added it to my queue last Sunday, popped it on the top, and it came right over...

I enjoyed it; it was rather sad, of course. I suppose I could swing it by this weekend if you just want to watch mine and mail it back. Let me know, otherwise, I'll ship it out in tomorrow's mail.

I believe I put it on the queue back at the beginning of February. It still says "short wait" on it. *shrug*

Thanks for the offer, but just send it back. we have other movies waiting to be watched in the meantime. :-)

What did you think of The Constant Gardner? A friend loaned it to me several weeks ago, and I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Good? Bad? Worth a few hours of time?

I found it thought provoking. It's not uplifting, but it is thought provoking.

Oooh, I need to add that to my queue. I'm down to the dregs of the "oh, this could be interesting" and I'm tired of watching parts of crappy movies :)

Does your "bit of an on-call obligation tonight" fit with "fish" plans?

Not nicely. It's hypothetical at this point. Work could start right at 6pm, but I'm not sure if work needs to be done. This has to do with some electrical problems, so I need to be available to shut down systems if need-be.
