taogrl took me to see the Monarchs play the Sky in Arco Arena. They played a good game. The refs were on signicant amounts of crack.

The highlight of the evening, however, was the results of our "Yours and Mine" game. As you may recall, this is a highly unsavory and impolite exercise in which, while people watching, the purpose is to "claim" the cute guys for your own by secretly whispering into your opponent's (in this case,

taogrl's ear, identifying the individual, and either claiming it as your own, or bestowing it upon your ~~opponent~~ friend. Recall that you would only bestow a person onto your friend if said individual was freaky in a baaaad way.

So,

taogrl drew first blood tonight by bestowing a gentleman to me. The game played out as follows:

taogrl: Number 12 over there. He's yours.

I look over to where she's directing me, and see a rotund gentleman with rat-like facial features in a big Oakland Raiders jersey. But the Jersey says "32" on it.

Me: Uh, that's not number 12. That's number 32, and he's YOURS.

Yes, boys and girls, I won that round. If you don't call it out right, you get to eat it.
