Ms Tao and I met up at the Naked Lounge tonight to indulge in some Thai Coffees and conversation. I'm happy to report that the denizens of the Naked Lounge did not announce their trip to the bathroom by hitting the main light switch instead of the bathroom's light switch.
It's an interesting mind game, that. Oftentimes, except for light switches leading to lights outside of the building, the light switch is located within the room you are entering. However, have a light switch on both sides of the wall, and people will pick the light switch facing them to activate the lights located in their destination room. It's a great "I've gotta pee" announcement for the rest of us.
We then hustled off to Barnes and Noble to buy a copy of the Writer's Market for our writer's group. Wheee!
My goal tonight is to finish washing my favorite flannels sheets, and reading up on making pasta.

Info contained in it is frequently inaccurate and out-of-date. If they bother at all to update year-to-year, they do it so far ahead of publication time that it is almost always obsolete. The same with their magazine, Writer's Digest. You may embarass yourself when making queries to publications--BELIEVE ME.
You are better off perusing the actual magazine stands of a well-stocked bookstore for complete stats for potential sales of material. At least their mastheads are only weeks to months old, not several months to years.
The only true value in the Market or Digest are the generic articles such as "How to Write a Query Letter", etc.
Been there--done THAT,
