Cat Sitter

My mother gave me a dvd called "Cat Sitter" . It is a DVD for your cats. It has scenes of mice trotting about, and birds, featuring lots of bird and rodent sounds.

Max has his ear radar working, but he's blind, so he can't see what the deal is.

But if he did, he'd see huge birds and mice, rivalling or exceeding his size. I don't think this dvd was made for people who have big screen tvs in their house. The fish and parrots look huge!

Sascha doesn't appear to care. He's laying by the sliding glass door and looking out the window.

So far, it's not a hit.

ETA: Oh my goodness! Those aren't butterflies! They are birds of prey! This isn't a cat video! On a 51" screen, it's a monster movie!

Do cats actually care about the television? Tika will occasionally react to a sound on the TV, but that's about all, and she rarely even does that. The dog I had as a teenager once sat in front of the TV and watched a PBS show about the planets for a few minutes, but other than that he only got interested when a doorbell rang on TV.
