More corporate welfare

If I ever here someone bitching about welfare for poor people, s/he will need to be reminded of situations reflected in the above. Furthermore, our current involvement with Iraq, the pending mobilization of 200,000 troops for the sake of oil, is also another variant of corporate welfare.

The liberals all seem to enjoy the thought of paying 10 bucks a gallon for gasoline. Why is this?

The point is, whether we pay at the pump, or we pay through our taxes, we're still paying a lot for gasoline. And some are about to die for cheaper gas. But oil companies still make huge profits.

Besides, the folks in Europe only pay about six bucks a gallon.

This is why we should be pursuing alternate fuel methods more aggressively.
