Writer's Block: Deck the Halls!

There was a time when I was growing up when the household was festooned with Christmas trappings. Now that I'm on my own and I have two cats, I only have a few decorations: I have a three christmas items on or about the mantle: a very big snow globe my aunt and uncle gave me, an old-fashioned angel doll, and a pillow that says "jingle bells". You wind it up and it plays a little tune. The manager scene is preserved inside the globe. It's definitely my loudest item of christmas flare. I also have a 4-foot (faux) tree that I decorate, and then the cats molest. I also have a wreath on my door.
And after that, I'm spent, as far as Christmas highjinks goes. :-)
