Feb. 15th, 2003 11:14 pmMs. Tao came over tonight to watch Woody Allen's "Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex (but were afraid to ask)". I had remembered certain aspects of this movie fondly when I was a wee lass. I realized I didn't get many of the references, now that I've seen it 20 years later.
I think Gene Wilder's vignette with Daisy the Sheep is by far the most darling.
The dramatization of the inner-workings of the male was rather amusing, as well. There is one scene in the gonads where the sperm(played by Woody Allen and various other actors) are waiting to make their final egress. In a sea of white sperm, there's one black sperm saying, "Why am I here? What am I doing here?" Hee.
We then watched Oz. Boy, I am out of touch. I did catch the reference to St. Eligius in Boston, however. Very cute.
