Jun. 20th, 2003 09:01 amLast night was enjoyable and noteworthy.
Why? Because it was game night, and because for the first time, I actually had a little guitar jam session with friends. I picked up the bass accoustic for the first time, learned which notes I needed to play, and did the bass portion of a song (Richard Shindell's "Fishing"). Sure, it wasn't perfect, but I did manage to keep time and hit the right notes at the right time.
I learned about Pressure cookers. They do wonderful things for artichokes.
Mmmm. Artichokes. Another reason last night was enjoyable. A few of us stood around in the kitchen eating divine meaty leafs of artichoky goodness while the anal retentive folks launched into a painful analysis of the game "Wizard".
