Despite several reminders, I still forgot about the ol' "Fall Back" last night. So, I woke up about 6:30, when I thought it was 7:30.

I woke up to a sore throat this morning, mostly due to excessive lung-hacking all through the night. My left and right sinus cavities are now taking turns on which side gets to be full, and the other side functional. It's mighty nice of them to give each other a break like that.

Now for some hot tea and reading.

I'm sitting on my comfy sofa. Sascha is curled up by my side, taking a cat nap. I'm watching this. Joseph Campbell is quite impressive. I remember watching this when it first came out, while I was in high school.

What's particularly amusing about this episode is that he's discussing heroes. He even enters into an analogy of the mythological nature of Star Wars. Good fun, and profound.

London Memories

Walking across the Millenium Bridge in the late afternoon. Behind the camera is where the Tate Modern museum is. Just look at that sky. Ms Tao wasn't as taken with the skies as I was, but just look at that sky!

Paris Memories

Once again, more on my obsession with the heavens from Europe.



It still takes my breath away. We were right near the Eiffel Tower.
