Well, the good news about jury duty is that I don't have to report until 9am.

Last night was a very pleasant evening involving good conversation and mexican food!

Though, I was suffering from a slight, "stuck in the boring courtroom" exhaustion headache. I slept reasonably well, though, and while girl could still sleep, I feel fairly refreshed.

Nother amusing tidbit: one of the prospective juror's last names was Cocke. The clerk refused to pronounce the name and spelled it out. I wonder how often that happens to that guy.

Here we go again...

I, the collective wet dream of all court-bound legal counsel, was placed on the jury. Too many people were able to dredge up believable stories that would make them too biased on a case.

Me, I'm too honest to make something up, and my life has been largely trouble free.

*sigh*

The hard part will be staying awake.

I got a snappy new cell phone today. I've been thinking about getting a personal cell phone again. So, since costco had a great price, plus an $80 rebate on the phone, I got it.

Plus I have free sprint pcs to pcs calling, so anyone with Sprint PCS should give me a call, assuming you have the same!
