Okay, for my new years eve food, we have:

-Four cheese ravioli (using a recipe from Biba, Sacramento's patron saint of fine Italian food) --now made
-Roasted Beet Ravioli--almost made
-Salad
-Asparagus
-Garlic Bread
-Mint Chip Ice Cream --custard is made and is chilling. It shall be prepared tomorrow afternoon.

Add to the list of words I like

smite or smote. It just sounds so good.

Beet Ravioli. Done.
Mint Chip Ice Cream. Done and freezing.
Almond Crisp cookies. Done.


Left: cheesy garlic bread. Salad. I'll save the asparagus for another time. I think between hors d'eouvres, salad, pasta. We'll be done.

This will be a meat free evening, but hey, there's butter well represented in the cookies, and eggs in the pasta. That's close enough.

My copy of L.I.E. arrived in the mail. I'd watch it tonight, but I don't think that's a festive, New Year's Eve type of movie.
