Jan. 10th, 2003 10:55 amThe coveted Friday morning is rapidly dwindling. Now that the holiday frenzy is over, my work schedule resumes its regulary scheduled programming, which now gives me permanent Fridays off.
Todays plans approach the deeply mundane, with an oil change and a tire rotation at the top of my list. Oh yes, and then there's the acquisition of the kitten kibble.
This week has gone by fast. I've been keeping rather busy, both with practical and non-practical pursuits. I feel perhaps that I have made myself too busy than is prudent. I have too many diverse hobbies and not enough quiet time. In a very mellow and inconsequential way, I almost feel frantic.
Despite that, I'm enjoying life. I've got many friends to keep me entertained. Game night was most pleasant last night. We played poker, of course. I suffer from the "Host's losing streak". Myself and others have been experiencing bad host luck. Out of the past four poker events I've hosted, I've lost money on them. Oh well.
Now I must carry on with my day.
