Mar. 16th, 2003 02:23 amBy the way, from the "Support a Starving Musician" Files, I suggest you go and see Dan Mills if he ever comes to your neck of the woods.
Ms Tao and I saw him play at the Plantation Coffee house tonight. His finger picking was rather good. He's travelling around the western U.S. in his van, getting as many gigs as he can.
He was a friendly guy. There were only about 10 of us who showed up to hear him. Shame on Elk Grove for not making a better turnout. During his break, he made a point to sit and chat with all of us, which was wise, and interesting. He has been playing guitar since he was 8, and he took a few years of music theory, and two years of classical training, in addition to his self-practice.
Furthermore, let me just say that repeaters are quite fun.

Mar. 16th, 2003 09:49 amThere's a company out there called Fiducial. Yes, their name is all about trust. Of course, it is probably some financial company, but stopped paying attention to the commercial, as my mind danced around with the pronounciation of "fiduciary". Pronoucing the word is like rolling down hill on your bike, "fi", then rolling through a puddle at the bottom of the hill "duc" then hitting another quick hill "iary".
Then the ad wizards for Fiducial decided to repeat the company name, lest we should forget.
Fiducial.
Fiducial.
Fiducial.
Yes, it's Monster Trust Racing!!! Fiducial. FIDUCIAL. FIDUCIAL!
