Tivo musings
Apr. 5th, 2003 09:20 pmI finally linked my vcr up to my TiVo to allow for recording. However, the user guide instructs me to instruct my vcr to accept input from TiVo. There appears no such feature in my VCR setup. My VCR is Pre-TiVo. Or PreVo, if you will.
But, as long as I get off my ass, and press the record button, I can "push" TiVo Recordings onto my VCR. The main reason for this is so I can give a friend of mine the Penn and Teller Bullshit episodes she craves, without me having to necessarily watch them over again. Not that watching the show would be a bad thing, but I have other pursuits in mind.
It really doesn't make a huge difference. I still have to watch whatever I'm recording onto my VCR, anyway. However, I can do otherthings, like update Live Journal, work out, or read. Well, frankly, the possibilities are reasonably vast.
