Jun. 3rd, 2003 10:33 pmWell, it is a late night at the J-O-B, kiddies.
Today was a busy day, and I'm doing some late night pc work with the Limey. Everything is humming along, but a I have a little downtime between loads, so I'm taking some time to gab into the ether...net.
The new director rolled into town, and we spent time getting to know her and shooting some business breeze. Then towards the end of the day, our CTI server takes a nice dump. It turns out it wasn't really the CTI Server, but our Map-D card in the switch. I helped Marshlands, the primary telco stud, with troubleshooting before the Limey and I hit Macaroni Grill for dinner.
Now, if the Limey and I were truly efficient beings, we would have called ahead and arranged for speedier food pick up. But, no. We drove there to place our order, allowing us just enough time to order a Lemon Drop for the Lady(that's me!) and a Marzen for the scurvy Brit. We received our vittles just as we were savoring the last sip of our respective libations.
Well, the rest of the night has been boring as shite.
I hope everyone else's evening has been progressing swimmingly!
