Last night was spent hanging with the crew in Davis. We hung out and chatted over beers, then migrated to Cafe Mediterranean for some Shawermas and Falafel. I still cannot pronounce Falafel right on the first try. Which annoys me, because I like to be correct. Dammit! Then, I returned home to play some Star Wars Galaxies. I hunted with a fellow who was unclear on a few concepts. For example, when you are wounded, and being chased by mobs, slow down around the medic so she can actually heal you. In SWG, when a marksman is running from a mob of gnorts, and the medic is chasing after them all, it looks very much like a Benny Hill scene.

Today, I have dedicated to some home straightening. So far, I've done some laundry, fed the cats, medicated Maximus. Now, I shall endeavor to work out a bit, then return to engage in more domestic goodness. The Cutie is supposed to come over tomorrow for Ravioli goodness, so I have some preparations to make there, as well.

Fables!

I had acquired the second book of the "Fables" comic series. The first set was Rose Red faking her death. The second set I just acquired covers the "Animal Farmesque" plot to overthrow the farm on the part of the pigs and other fables. I liked this storyline much better. The fact that Goldilocks is some seemingly egalitarian yet power hungry swamp witch is a hoot.

Finally, I am up to issue two of the lovestory between Bigby and Snow White. All good stuff.

Lobster Ravioli with a Crab sauce
Apple sorbet with a caramel sauce

Accopaniments will likely include a bread of some sort and salad.
