Ahnold in the horizon
Aug. 7th, 2003 02:20 pmI have been rather tired today. Though I got less sleep last night, and felt even more tired yesterday. I'm hoping to fit a trip to the gym in this afternoon.
I was up late talking to the Cutie and watching Arnold declare his intent to run for Gov'na of California.
I just don't know. This state has gone nuts. I don't think a conservative actor is what any government needs. But then again, we've got such asstards screwing up our government, that the net effect might be an improvement.
Today has been busy. I am finally quietly removing the computer equipment of coworkers who have been laid off in my department. It's kind of depressing. No one will be sitting at those desks. Soon, those desks will be broken down and we will relocate our cubicles elsewhere.
Tonight, I may end up working some OT, but otherwise, I can look forward to a quiet evening, me thinks.
I'm still irked about some things, but I have no new insight to add to the conversation.
In other news...the State Fair is fast approaching. The B-52s and the GoGos will be playing on two of the fair nights. Total formative years nostalgia! I'll be attending at least one of those events.
