I have added some icons from my personal photo collection.

I had a few phonecalls tonight. The final one was from my mother, we had a fairly serious conversation about our particular variety of dysfunction. It's a long story, and perhaps I'll get to it at some point.

Anyway, time for bed. Goodnight, folks!

It took a mighty big spatula to pry myself and the cats from our slumber this morning. I relied heavily on my snooze button. The cats were not nearly as skiddish as they normally might be after hearing the alarms. They were curled up into cuddly little balls, displaying that irresistable sleeping cat face.

In between snoozes, a song kept running through my brain. It was none other than the "Lime in the Coconut" song.

I've been at work two hours now and still I have not shaken off all the sleepies.

Bah.

Well, my search for HD Projection Tvs continues. Amazon has some nice deals. I am also on the lookout for a new progressive scan dvd player. In addition, I was thinking of getting another pvr for my bedroom, since dish was giving them away for free. However, due to intense demand, they are now charging 99 bucks for the receiver. Bah

I worked out during my lunch break today, and ended up working an extra hour late tonight. Then I proceeded to stop at Best Buy to drool over HDTVs...I think I found a match. I like the Toshiba 51" projection TV. I just need to find out what ideal viewing distances should be so I don't get ill watching it.

Later, I joined Suzanne at the Naked Lounge for good conversation. While there, we saw a dude that looked like a red-headed Louis XIV, but not as hot. And if you ever thought the Sun King was hot (body temperature aside)...

Now to watch Everwood.

In other news, I must mention how much I love iTunes. After my Coconut discussion with [livejournal.com profile] scarcrest this morning, I was reminded that I did not have the original version of the song. iTunes had it! I also acquired a few Harry Belefonte songs.

Oh, and for those who might not have remembered the Muppet Show's version of Coconut, here ya go. I love it when Kermy calls for the doctor.

I want to call the doctor, wake him up!
