Tonight was a delightful night.

--Coffee and fine, albeit not long enough, conversation with Ms Tao.
--Wine and fine conversation with D&A. They are the parents of Thomas, the ex who got away via an untimely death. Generous and kindly folks they are.
--Returned home at 11:45pm only to recall with disdain that it was trash night. Begrudgingly took out trash and kitty litter.
--Spoke with friends online about scheduling some nights of Poker games. They want to do a buy in of 10 bucks cash or so.
--I'm pensive, of late. Looking to form and execute new plans of action.
--I need to make a note to myself about the many facets of people. Maybe even a story o' my past will be involved.

Oh yeah. Still not Queen of the World, yet.

Thanks go to scarcrest for bringing this article on WMDs to my attention. Though some of you folks think otherwise, the liberal media is very much a myth when it comes to the mainstream. This whole war has been nothing but a harmful national distraction that has killed our soldiers needlessly for the sake of a few corporate welfare recipients (Bechtel and Haliburton).

This is far from honorable behavior from a country who should know better. Shame on our leadership. Shame on those who voted for our leadership who fell for the same unctuous sales pitch we received in the 80s.
