Tonight was a delightful night.

--Coffee and fine, albeit not long enough, conversation with Ms Tao.
--Wine and fine conversation with D&A. They are the parents of Thomas, the ex who got away via an untimely death. Generous and kindly folks they are.
--Returned home at 11:45pm only to recall with disdain that it was trash night. Begrudgingly took out trash and kitty litter.
--Spoke with friends online about scheduling some nights of Poker games. They want to do a buy in of 10 bucks cash or so.
--I'm pensive, of late. Looking to form and execute new plans of action.
--I need to make a note to myself about the many facets of people. Maybe even a story o' my past will be involved.

Oh yeah. Still not Queen of the World, yet.

oooooh poker. cool :-) i wish i knew enough peopel around here who liked to play to get a night going, i just haven't had much luck.

Yeah. I love cards. I own my own 11gram poker chips. They aren't clay, but they are still fun. I bought 'em off ebay for about 20 cents a chip. Fun stuff. :-)

It is hard to get a regular game going. Especially since some folks don't like the 10 buck buy in. But it makes for a festive evening. :-) Especially all the variations you can play. Though Texas Hold 'Em carries its own fascination.

wow i love cards too, in many forms. nice chips, i got plastic ones somewhere :-) $10 is not that big of a deal, i could handle that. festive is good, as long as it is all fun then who cares :-)
