Jan. 9th, 2004 01:08 amToday was a wee bit busy. I was pleased that I made it four days to the gym for four days of work. Now I just need to keep that up.
I had to fetch kitty kibble for my little predators. I bought them a new wand toy. Which reminds me: Ms Tao was so thoughtful and got the lads a fishing rod mouse toy. The cats loved it. However, while playing with Sascha, somehow he got his rear paw wrapped in the "fishing line", and proceeded to freak out. No. Not just freak out. He FREAKED OUT. Fifteen seconds later, the toy was in several bits, and the crisis was over.
Anyway, after that, I came home, lost a few hours watching tv reading emails, upgrading my itunes and virus software.
After that, I finished planning the meals for the french dinner I'm in charge of coordinating for my Platinum Chefs club. The meal plan, thus far (page numbers and parentheses are for my benefit):
Salmon en papillote with herb sauce p. 159(f)
Zucchini Souffle, page 207(f)
Crepes de Pommes de Terre, pg 520 (JC) with mushrooms
Asparagus with a maltaise sauce, pg 437 (JC) sauce p. 83.
Tamarind crème brule
I also practiced me drums. I had fun tonight, I was starting to get into a groove, but consistency still illudes me.
