Apr. 2nd, 2004 12:31 amSo, it's after midnight. I've taken care of some emails, practiced some drums, and I'm still awake.
Tonight was fairly laid back. I worked, as per usual, then hit the gym. My workout was pretty good, considering this allergy thang I got going on. Then I went to meet
taogrl at the Naked Lounge for some libations and conversation. She was running late, so I cracked open my copy of "Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Always good stuff in that book.
I read another Ann Coulter article today off of a yahoo news feed. Then I started to read the commentary attached to it. Talk about waste of time. Thousands of comments that got everyone absolutely nowhere. We're all americans, but we're living some different realities.
bouncepogo, you so crazy!
I am watching the Fuse channel at the moment, taking amusement in their format. There seems to be a fairly consistent approach to how these hard rock bands film their videos: the bad approach. I'm sorry, I don't care for the strobe light effect on my television. I wonder how many headache sufferers are watching Fuse. And their singing style...hee! What I really want to see and hear is one of these hard rockers singing in their normal, gutteral bark, and accidentally gag and puke into the mic. That would be sweet.
*click*
VH1's Insomniac theater. There's some dude on here who is a cross between Tiny Tim with regard to voice, and a hybrid of bad 80s hair bands in appearance. The band is called the Darkness. And I think the lead singer dude, I'll dub him Tiny Crue, is wearing a tiara, I think. *shudder*
Okay. Bed.
