[livejournal.com profile] unclemilo mentioned a CNN article yesterday about Bush's claims against Kerry. Factcheck.org has a similar article debunking Bush's current ads.

If you go to the main Factcheck site, you'll see that Kerry makes some misleading ads, too. Both are using hyperbole to convince voters to their point of view.

Really, I think that campaign ads should be prohibited. Debates between the candidates should be aired continually, instead(or some variation of that idea). It would save money, and keep special interests out of it.

In other news, thank you, [livejournal.com profile] vanguardian, for the text message yesterday. I have three iTunes to pick up free, thanks to him, but I haven't had time to "shop" for my new tunes. :-)

Oh, and a belated Happy Birthday to the brilliant and gorgeous [livejournal.com profile] shimaera. I hope it was a fantastic one, dahling! And I'll see you in 5 days! Did you get my email from a few days ago?

Alright, back to work.

Okay, my formerly effervescent mood has been flattened by the discovery that a 114 asset audit scan is void because a coworker already scanned it and didn't document properly.

Feh. Or, as a delightfully clever someone once uttered, "Heckbiscuits!".

So I will let my thoughts drift momentarily to happier thoughts of conspicuous consumption:

-I'm tempted to get my own copy of City of Heroes, but I really shouldn't until after I pass my Server + exam.

-My movie posters are in; now I need to get them framed and hanged. Wheee!

-Gosh, I keep hearing good things about the Harmony Remote. Mrowwrr.

-Big Fish is out in DVD.

I cashed in the free iTunes songs, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] vanguardian's potentially incessant Pepsi guzzling.

My songs:
-Wierd Al's "Ebay"
-James' "Laid"
-Arrested Development's "Mr. Wendel"

Thanks again, V!

In other news, I watched "American Wedding" tonight. Clearly you can see that Hannigan's role as Willow typecast her into the band geek girl, Michelle. However, Willow had much more class.

I had a frosted mini-wheat experience with this movie. The plain side was shocked and dismayed at the crassness of the movie. However, the frosted side was laughing heartily.

I Tivo'd the Larry King Show tonight.

Okay, bed time.
