May. 23rd, 2004 07:29 amWinetasting yesterday was good fun. Unfortunately, my friend who helps run the winery wasn't there, so that was a wee bit unfortunate. But the wine. The wine was good. I acquired a few bottles. Now I must start having gatherings in which said wine is consumed.
The party last night was good fun. Especially the jam session towards the end of the evening. Another guy who plays drums was there. He had a pair of drums sticks and was playing highhat and snare parts on a bucket I grabbed a mic and provided the bass drum component. We had two good guitarists and a bassist and three of us women were providing vocals and backup vocals.
Good fun.
I need to bring my drum kit over to their house so we can have some extended play time. It would be good for me, and hopefully fun for us all.
Now, I must go to work. Feh.
