Friday Recap
Jun. 26th, 2004 12:28 amBefore I commence my recap of the day, I need to mention this before I forget:
Add this to the list of "things that are wrong":
-Having a political correspondent that sounds like Carroll Channing. But Fox News has one!
Why am I watching Fox News, you wonder?
Because watching conservatively biased programming is good for my blood circulation.
Onward.
I had my hair appointment this morning. In addition to the usual trim, I had her dye my hair a bit more red than previously. I do believe I'm rather fond of the results.
After that, it was off to work, where trouble calls were slightly vexing.
Following my visit to the paycheck generator, I went to Davis to visit friends, and see Fahrenheit 9/11. The folks I saw the film with were on the conservative side. They expressed annoyance at his furthering the Democratic agenda, and blaming Republicans. However, I don't blame Moore for leaning towards the Democrats when the Republicans in power are the ones responsible for falsifying intelligence data, for having close business ties with the Saudis such that the line is blurry between business and our national security, etc. and so forth. I'm just to tired to rant right now, anyway.
Bedtime for me!
