Building a Mystery
Jul. 8th, 2004 01:24 amI'm rather content tonight. I had a delightful evening with my friends.
The early part of the day was extremely wastrel-esque. I played City of Heroes until 2pm. I gathered up folks for a taskforce that took a wee bit of time, but I did level up to 20. All that remained was performing my tailor mission, and I could get a new costume for my darling blaster, Zarathustra. But that would have to wait.
After being lost in CoH, I dressed and ran an errand. I needed to go to the custom framing store and return some frames, buy the proper frames, and acquire new glass and foam board for my two "accidents".( I mis-measured one poster and broke the glass on another.)
With that under my belt, I hit the road to downtown to meet Suzanne. Traffic was extremely generous, so I got there earlier than I planned. I snuck into her place of work, and then walked down to Lotus where we would meet for dinner. There,I read a few more pages of "Good Omens" and had a Thai Iced Tea. Nummy.
Thai food was delicious: Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, Pad King, Pho soup. Very delicious. Very not on my current diet. But that's okay. I'm back on the wagon tomorrow.
Then to the concert. Sarah was fantastic! She played(Though not in that order):
( Playlist )
I think that's the whole list...but I might have missed one or two. She did two encores, at least. We left at the second and avoided the crowds.
I was most pleased. Yes, she's obsessed with love, gone good or bad, and I like it.
I didn't realize her husband was her drummer. That's groovy. Now to bed.
