Oct. 18th, 2004 08:48 amI've been reading Maureen Dowd's book, "Bushworld: Enter at your own risk", for the past few days. She's quite a good writer. It is also interesting to see what she has to say. I gather that many of these are editorials she actually wrote for the New York Times. I'm only fourty pages into it, though, so we'll see how it progresses from here.
The Gallup Polls show Bush in the lead, in a once-again likely republican biased poll. I think more democrats will turn out this year than in previous ones, however. Such close races are making the votes count more than ever.

2004_elections, someone has posted about the economic successes of the defense industry. I recommend you take a look at it, for this was the real underlying reason we are currently at war.
The day I know that a war is justified is the day an elected official who doesn't stand to gain financially from the decision decides that war is necessary.
Goodness. Only two weeks away from the big election day.
